You Make A Difference

Sometimes we need someone to tell us that we matter. We need the reassurance that we are important to someone and truly make a difference in the greater scheme of life.

Diva, if you are reading this, know that you do make a difference!

Even the little things matter. Everything you do makes a difference and impact somehow and someway.

Your day-to-day actions set an example for those that you encounter. Our children pattern their behavior after what they see us do. That woman in the grocery store you smiled at, you brightened her day. That co-worker you helped, you made their workload easier and their day at work a little easier.

Each step you take, brings you closer to attaining your goals.

You Make A Difference

Your choices are important. From choosing oatmeal for breakfast instead of a donut to saving money each week to provide for unexpected home or car repairs. It all matters. You matter.

We all face setbacks in life. Your presence and support can cheer someone up, just when they need it most.  You can reduce their burden by listening to their concerns or helping them find a solution. A shoulder to cry on, an ear to bend, a hug to comfort – it makes a difference and you are appreciated for providing it.

Major achievements require teamwork. Even when you play a minor role, your efforts are significant. When you proofread a report or help out with simple tasks, you contribute to an effective presentation. It is easier to clean a park when the whole neighborhood pitches in.

Recognizing your impact frees you from apathy and discouragement.  It motivates you to put forth your very best.

Today, I encourage you to feel joyful and confident and know that everything you do contributes to making the world a better place.

Thoughts To Ponder As You Go Through Your Day

  • What kind of example do I want to set for my children?
  • How do I help build a team mentality in my workplace?
  • What is one nice thing I can do for a friend who is going through a tough time?
