A Recap of 2015 • Divas With A Purpose

Happy New Year Divas! Before we jump into all the awesomeness we have in store for 2016, we wanted to reflect on 2015 and provide a year in review of our top five articles, search terms, traffic sources and commenters.

We are thankful for everyone that supports Divas With A Purpose through our website and social media outlets – you all help make this community what it is.

This post from July of this year has been viewed over 35,000 times! Personal finance and savings are a huge priority for my family. I will be starting a #1Kin90Days challenge in January.

Apparently, budgeting and savings are hot topics within the Divas With A Purpose community this year. This post from 2014 was our 2nd most read article in 2015. To date, it has been viewed over 8000 times.

This is one of my favorite articles on the site and one that I refer to and refer others to regularly when asked just how does a Diva find her purpose. 15 Soul to Searching Questions to Ask Yourself was written to help me and the Divas With A Purpose community do just that.

This fall my children and I finally crossed an item off of our family bucket list – visiting our local corn maze. We visited the Clinton Sease Farm in Lexington, South Carolina and had such a fun afternoon. Our goal in 2016 is to get out and explore our city more. Often we forget the fun in being tourists in our own neighborhoods.

Another oldie but yummy! I shared my quick and easy quiche recipe back in 2013. This recipe brings back fond memories of my mother as it’s something I remember her cooking for herself regularly growing up – I didn’t realize the deliciousness I was missing out on as a child.

“how to set goals”: Yes!!! This is one of our favorite topics and there are countless articles on our site. We’ve compiled many of them on this page: Free S.M.A.R.T. Goal Resources to help our community set and attain their goals.

2015 Top Traffic Sources

We love to see that visits to our site are coming from our social media accounts. Facebook, Pinterest, StumbleUpon and Twitter are the top 4 websites referring visitors to our website. A special thank you to Brandi of Mama Knows It All. She included Divas With A Purpose on her list of Influential African-American Mom Bloggers last year and we have consistently received traffic from her article. It is always great when your peers publicly give you a high-five.
