Happy Monday Divas! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I celebrated my birthday and have to give much props to my local sorority sisters who made my weekend!  



Today I’m linking up at Monday Marketing hosted by Here’s the Thing. One of the premises of Divas With A Purpose is supporting others in their entrepreneurial endeavors by networking, connecting and assisting in any way we can.  So Monday Marketing is definitely something that I’m 100% behind.


Please feel free to share any marketing tips and suggestions you’ve used or seen used by others.  Some examples I’ve seen used and/or have utilized are:  industry meet-ups (face-to-face and virtual), sponsoring giveaways for events, offering special discounts, guest blogging on a site that is geared towards your product or service, offering free or discounted services in exchange for advertising, and joining professional organizations.


Dorinda’s Diva Shoppe

This is a new venture by me and I’m in the process of building a fan base and inventory.  The vision for the Diva Shoppe is to offer all things “diva” at an affordable rate.  If you are or know of someone who has items for sale that fit within the “diva” theme (this is pretty broad) and is looking for a new venue to promote in…look no further 🙂

While we’re building up our customer and fan base, we’re offering very low advertising and consignment rates for the remainder of 2012.  Rates include advertising on the Diva Shoppe’s  website, Facebook fan page (www.facebook.com/DorindasDivaShoppe), Divas With A Purpose’s website and the listing of up to 5 items at a time in the webstore for the remainder of the year (small fee for processing credit card payments for items sold).

We’re currently sponsoring two different giveaways – one for fellow blogger, Save and Live Like Modern Royalty by Aylin and Support My Fan Page’s Kickoff to Summer Event.
